Hiking in the Lusatian Mountains ⛰️

I’m back from my holiday and finally ready for another hike!

Let’s visit Lužické hory, including the highest peak – Luž

THERE ARE A FEW RULES. Please do NOT join if:
– you feel unwell or somewhat sick/ill in whatever sense
– you are afraid in any way
In both cases you are welcome to join any other time.

We will meet Praha-Holešovice metro station, upstairs (take the stairs in the direction of travel) at 8:25, and take a bus to Dolní Podruží, from where we will start our hike.

The hike is around 18 km long, and looks approx like this:

I reserve the right to change the trail a bit as we go, though 😀

We will ascent to the highest peak of the mountain range (793m), walk on the border line with Germany, and in the end end up in the village called Svor, from where we will take buses back to Prague-Holešovice with arrival at 20:15

Please bear in mind that it does involve an ascending part, although in my opinion everyone in at least a decent condition should be able to walk that.

IMORTANT
Bring food for the whole day, this time, there is not really a place to get anything.
COST: around 300Kč for the bus tickets

This event is free of charge, but any contribution for organizing and to cover the subscription fees is more than welcome (100 CZK is just fine, but it’s totally up to you how much you think the trip was worth, your financial possibilities etc.)

It’s okay if your plans change, but please also change your status accordingly. Not showing up is considered highly inconsiderate to others (and to me) and will lead to removal from the group (and me personally kicking your butt).
