Hello Czexplorers! We have put heads together with Filip from the DiscoveringPrague&CZ group to organize together for you a special weekend trip.

Let’s make a good use of the Czech national holiday on Fri 28th, and join us for a bonus, weekend trip to the easternmost region of Czechia, the region I originally grew up in – to peculiar Moravia-Silesia – and see the industrial heritage of the 3rd largest Czech city, explore the Beskydy mountains and visit picturesque historical towns and the museum of the oldest car manufacturer. .

———————————————

*The price for the first 9 places paid before 31st of August is only 2690Kc or 2490Kc with Discovery Pass. Enter the code ‘earlybird300’ at the checkout and 300 CZK will be deducted.

The Moravian-Silesian Region called by the locals “region razovity” (the peculiar region) is tucked in the eastern-most part of the Czech Republic, along the border of Poland and Slovakia. You will experience the region’s industrial past as well as the lively present, mountains and picturesque historical towns. It’s the region where I was born and grew up so you can expect maximum authenticity and local insights! 🙂

HIGHLIGHTS:
• Experience the work of miners directly underground in the Landek Park Mining Museum
• Enjoy the view from the “Hradčany of Ostrava” – the blast furnaces of Lower Vitkovice Iron Works
• Spend a day hiking in the Beskydy Mountains and enjoys the views from the peak of Radhost 1129 m/3704 ft a.s.l.
• Try the tasty “Štramberk Ears” in the picturesque little town of Štramberk
• Learn about the oldest Czech car manufacturer and admire beautiful old cars in the Tatra Museum in Kopřivnice
